The sport season ended with Teamnetwork Siracusa arriving for the third consecutive year just one step away from the semifinals for first place. It was also classified in 7th position for the Coppa Italia played in Fondi.
Handball has become the great star in Siracusa. Actually the collaboration between FIGH and Teamnetwork, provided the opportunity for the male and female national teams to take part in the qualification matches for their respective categories at EURO 2020 and the 2017 World Cup.
