The National Men’s team, under Fredi Radojcovic, in conjunction with the Siracusa Teamnetwork coach, Giuseppe Vinci, and a large supporters team of more than 2000 people, were able to achieve an impressive 26 to 19 victory. It is anticipated that in January this team will be reasonably able to win the two matches against Luxembourg to advance to the next level.
The National Women's team, after a thirteen year absence from Siracusa has been able to qualify in Sicily, for the first time in eight years, for the World Cup 2017 to be played in Germany.
