TEAMNETWORK has won the Architecture Award ANCE 2025 - Premio Massimo Rilli

The contest is an initiative that rewards innovative projects for the regeneration of Sicily and sets out to promote sustainable, creative solutions capable of improving the urban environment.

Winner - Companies category: TEAMNETWORK S.r.l.

The residential complex on Via Riviera Dionisio il Grande, the work of Teamnetwork's Real Estate Division, comprises nine housing units and shared spaces and sits within the original fabric of the historic Santa Lucia district in Syracuse.

Once the long-standing divide between the municipal road on one side and the railway line on the other had been removed, the project went beyond a simple building operation and became a scheme to upgrade the area and its urban fabric.

The design process set out - and staked the company's own bet - on delivering a high-end residential complex fully integrated into its surroundings and able to meet clearly stated founding intentions. Those values were recognised and appreciated by the jury of the Premio Massimo Riili.

The architectural design handled the mediation between the historic fabric and the new volumes in exemplary fashion, taking in features such as the hypogea uncovered during excavation. The buildings also deliver very high energy performance (Nearly Zero Emission Building) and incorporate sustainable solutions including:

√ Collection and storage of rainwater for domestic reuse and irrigation;

√ Permanent protection of the glazed floors from solar radiation.

"Receiving this award is doubly rewarding," said Alessandro Di Stefano, CEO of Teamnetwork, "for the recognition itself, which rewards the company and the many skilled people of the Real Estate Division, and for the added value that makes this award truly unique: the memory of Massimo Riili."
