At Serracapriola (Foggia), in Puglia, Teamnetwork is carrying out all the works needed to bring a 3.45 MW wind turbine into operation, completing a wind farm of more than 27 MW, including all the logistics for the arrival and use of the 1,200-tonne main crane.

At Serracapriola (Foggia), in Puglia, Teamnetwork is carrying out all the works needed to bring a 3.45 MW wind turbine into operation, completing a wind farm of more than 27 MW, and is handling all the logistics works for the arrival and use of the 1,200-tonne main crane, the working platforms for the 350-tonne auxiliary cranes and all the components of the 80 m high turbine.

All the civil and ancillary works were completed in record time: the foundations, with 40 tonnes of steelwork laid, the continuous pour of 400 m3 of concrete, the construction of a footing 19 m in diameter and the foundation footing of the Met Mast, together with 4 km of cable ducts that allowed the medium-voltage and fibre optic cables to be laid and connected to the existing electrical substation, making it possible to energise the wind turbine generator and connect it to the grid ahead of schedule.
