Repair and structural strengthening of a clinker store

Teamnetwork carried out repair and structural strengthening work on a clinker store.

The job was split into 2 operations, the first on the banding of the perimeter wall and the second on the column and pilasters inside the silo.

The banding of the perimeter wall was carried out by building an external reinforced concrete beam, with reinforced ducts embedded to house the prestressing strands, which were then tensioned as specified in the design.

The work on the column and on the pilasters inside the silo was carried out by lining the surfaces with Hardox 400 type plate and then pouring flowable grout inside the formwork.

The scraper reclaimer rails on the banding and on the silo column were also replaced.
