With specific reference to the Nativity scene and with immediate effect:

- the angels announcing the Holy Birth will be reduced from two to one. The project manager should look into the feasibility of St. Joseph taking the place of the angel after the shepherd visiting hours;

- starting from the day after the Epiphany, the ox and the donkey will be assigned to another project;
- the presence of the Magi, which constitutes an expensive foreign outsourcing, will commence both contractually and operationally from the New Year; moreover they will use the donkey as a means of transport for the return journey as referred to in the preceding paragraph;

- the shepherds will have just one sheep, which they will take in turns to use;

- as part of cost cuts, the comet will be switched off from 10 p.m onwards;
- to avoid unnecessary crowding during this period, conversions and religious proselytizing will be suspended.

The administration is also asked to take into consideration the leasing of the manger as an alternative to purchasing it;

- the electricity bill for Christmas lights is too high, and, while also taking into consideration the steep maintenance costs of the Christmas tree, a solution has been put forward by the management which would resolve both problems in one go..........burn the Christmas tree.
