The origins of Ragusa Ibla lie in the antique Hybla, one of the first Sicilian settlements.

Etna(Mungibeddu or simply ‘a Muntagna in the Sicilian dialect) is the most impressive volcano in Europe: 3330 metres above sea level, a perimeter of 210 km for a total area of 1600 square kilometres. This giant is always active and at times explodes, suddenly and violently.
